Emily Hinkle graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a BA in Global Agribusiness and went on to earn an MS in Environmental Resource Management from Arizona State University.

Emily has over 5 years of experience managing and currently managing Travel Reduction Programs for large companies in Arizona.  Through her management of the program, her clients have become industry leaders in TRP recognized and complimented by Maricopa County.  Emily represent District 1 on the Maricopa County Travel Reduction Program Task Force.

In the past four years, Emily has received the following recognitions from Valley Metro and Maricopa County at the annual Clean Air Campaign Awards Ceremony.

• October 2022 - Award Winner: Outstanding TC, more than 500 employees, Award 
• October 2023 – Award Finalist: Maricopa County Outstanding Travel Reduction Program, more than 500 employees, Award
• October 2024 – Award Winner: Creativity & Marketing Event, less than $250 budget, Award

In addition to her consulting work, Emily is adjunct faculty at Arizona State University in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, Environmental Resource Management degree program.  In that program, she teaches upperclassmen and graduate level courses on a variety of environmental and regulatory topics including compliance, environmental management, safety, solid waste management, and the major federal environmental laws and regulations.

Emily is involved in the Arizona agricultural community and serves on the advisory board of the Arizona Women in Water & Agriculture Association.

Emily holds the following professional certifications:

• Water Management Certification from the Agribusiness and Water Council of Arizona in collaboration with Arizona State University.
• Beginning Farmer and Rancher Certification from the United States Department of Agriculture in collaboration with the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension.
• US DOT Initial Awareness/Familiarization Training for Hazardous Materials/Waste Transportation (49 CFR 172.704).
• 40-Hour Health and Safety Training Course for Hazardous Waste Workers (HazWOpER) which meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(1,2,and3).
• Bloodborne Pathogens and First Aid Treatment Specialist (BPS).
• Workplace Ergonomics Specialist (WES).
• Heat Injury and Illness Prevention Specialist (HIIPS).
